Kara Turner, PHR, SHRM-CP, has over 30 years of experience developing and managing a full range of Human Resources programs in both the private and public sector. For the last two decades, Ms. Turner has owned Turner HR Services, Inc. in Whatcom County helping small to large companies within the Pacific Northwest meet their Human Resources needs.
Ms. Turner has served as an adjunct faculty member at the Bellingham Technical College, developing and instructing classes in the Human Resources field. Ms. Turner is a certified Human Resources professional (PHR, SHRM-CP) as well as certified in mediation, Meyers Briggs Assessment, conducting workplace investigations, and various other training topics. Serving in various positions on the Mt. Baker Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) Board of Directors, Ms. Turner was the Board President in 2003.
